Did I Teach You Nothing?

Location: Pacific Ocean

Bing Bong. Today started with my personal favorite and least favorite watch shift of 8 am-12. I love this shift because we got the best aftermath sky of the sunrise, but then it became very hot very quickly. Halfway through, watch team 1 was in charge of deck washing and floor scrubbing. Deck washing was more Addie, Charlotte, and me trying not to be sprayed with the hose by Charlie than cleaning, but we got it done. We then ended the watch and headed straight to lunch, which was made by our head chef, Harrison, with assistance from Jack and Clam. They made delicious poke bowls from the tuna that was caught last night. After lunch, we got to go to nav class with Professor Blake and learn how to find dead reckons and 3-point fixes on the maps. I then got to practice the ukulele Shane is teaching me, which I’m not very good at. It's more about me; it's morning 4 chords while he plays songs on the guitar. So let's all hope that by day 80, I can actually play a song. Dinner then involved more of the tuna, but this time seared with fried rice. Both meals today were so yummy. I then ended my day with Charlie telling me, “Did I teach y"u nothing?” because my p"one was next to the compass while I helmed, and yes, he did teach me that phones or magnets mess up the compass, so I’ll try to reI'ller next time. Passage has been the best time, just getting to hang out on deck and enjoy being in the middle of the ocean. Most of us have started to get PFD tanlines, so let's hope tholet's away when we get to Palau. Ok thats all for now, I want to go get some sleep. Fam, I love and miss you all and can't wait to can'to tell you all about ARGO!

A note from Charlie: Happy 61st birthday to the original Professor Blake!
