One Final Blog

Hey guys, what's up? It's clam!
These past 80 days (or 79 if we're being specific) have been some of the best of my life (and I'm sure everyone else's). We have all learned so much from both Argo and one another, and leaving this boat is not going to be easy. Much like every other day, our final one was a day of laughter, joy, and love for one another (as well as some grueling tasks none of us wanted to do), and I am so glad we got to spend one final day with each other.
The day started out with a breakfast of French toast made by Emma before we got into our boat appreciation of the day. We cleaned basically the entire boat in an attempt to get it back to the state we were greeted with when we boarded back in Fiji. This time was also spent packing and getting everything ready for us to leave the next morning. We took a break to have our final boat meal of mac and cheese before getting right back to cleaning. Even though we were cleaning, vibes were high as we all jammed out to music together for one of the final times. After BA was done, we all showered quickly and got ready for our final sign-out night. YAY! Before we left the boat, we had one final squeeze where I asked what everyone's favorite memory that shouldn't be a happy memory from Argo was. We all had lots of laughs and reminiscing as we listened to the bad and good moments we all went through together. Argo really teaches you how to make the hard times feel like good ones! We then ended the squeeze with a massive group hug before heading off for sign-out. Dinner was awesome and a great way to spend our final night. Once back on the boat, a bunch of us sat in the cockpit and reminisced on the past 80 days together. I think it can be said that we are all so grateful for Argo and everything it taught us, but we are also ready to begin new chapters of our lives with everything we have learned from these past 80 days.
