Best Day Ever!!!

Hello! Today started off bright and early with me waking everyone up at 5 am. We had a quick breakfast and set off for the day. We got off the train and began our first hike in Monterosso. It was a STEEEEEP hike with seemingly endless stairs, but eventually we made it into the next town. We got lots and lots of gelatos and pastries and ate them with the most beautiful view of the mountains and ocean. The next hike was easier, and I thought it had even better views. Seriously, it was the most surreal, amazing feeling to stand on a cliffside, looking down at these gorgeous towns and the sparkling teal ocean! Many people began to drift into different groups, some opting for the train into the next town instead of another hike. My group found this DELICIOUS pizza restaurant that we had lunch at. It was exactly the pizza I have been searching for since being in Italy. Definitely worth the hype. We explored the town some more and checked out all the cute shops. We obviously had to get a second round of gelato afterward.
Went to the last town and found the sickest cliff jumping spot. Debated for like 10 minutes about sending it even though we didn’t have swimsuits. Made the right decision and climbed up to jump. I hesitated a bit and gathered quite the crowd cheering me on. At least 50 people now have a video of me jumping in. (Felt like a celebrity walking back to the train lol) So many high fives from strangers! After we got back from the boat, we had some yummy dinner and got all cleaned up. Today was definitely my favorite day so far! I would relive it 100 more times if I could! Tonight we head to Villefranche, and then I believe Monaco after. I’ve got midnight to four watch tonight, so I’d better get off to bed. Thank you, Vela!
