Rainy Day Fun Time

Today was a rainy day in Gibraltar, but we truly made the most of it. We indulged in some sleep with an 8 a.m. wake-up (Thank you, Hollis and Mali, for making sure I was up on time). After that, we had a delicious breakfast in the salon. Today was a catch-up day; many of us did our laundry and finished some schoolwork. Of course, there was still lots of time for shenanigans. You may even notice some newly restyled eyebrows among a few of the crew. For class, we had marine bio and LEADERSHIP!!! In leadership today, we built spaghetti towers and talked about working in a team. Shout out to team dodo caca for taking the win with their somehow standing tower of over 100 cm. Due to the rain, our amazing chefs were not able to cut onions above deck. We all tried out a new technique for keeping from crying: sticking out our tongues!👅After leadership, we unloaded fresh provisions; this time we had 11 carts, 60 bags, 29 kg of chicken, 384 eggs, 200 tortillas, 110 potatoes, every tomato in the store (sorry Gibraltarians), and a whole lot of FRUIT!!! The crew is getting a bit stir crazy after our longest passage yet and another boat day today, but we are excited for some bowling on shore tonight and MONKEY HIKE! tomorrow.
