Watch Team 2 Shenanigans
Location: Cape Ghir, Morocco
Hey! It’s Griffin. (Hi Mom, hi Dad.) Today was a great day for sailing and some minor chaos. We left Essaouira yesterday and had probably the waviest passage I have EVER been on, but it was awesome!! We did a lot of raising sails, and we also jibed once to reach our current anchorage. The sunrise was also beautiful this morning with the Sahara dust in the sky. When we approached, it was really cool, especially because the dust made it so the mountains just slowly appeared. After navigating through all of the fishing boats and buoys, we reached our spot. Probably one of the more remote spots, which makes it beautiful. Remote also means low light pollution, so you know what that means… STARS!!! Very excited to see them tonight… Also very excited to get on passage tomorrow to reach Agadir to do some surfing and camping. Overall, though, it was a great day, and I’m looking forward to an even better one once we go camping in the desert!! Anyways (to my folks at home), I can’t wait to see y’all when I get back home. I miss you guys a lot… goooodbye.
