And We are Off.....

The first day off the dock is always incredibly exciting. New people and places remind us the trip has really begun. After a policy meeting this morning, we were off. We powered up the Sir Francis Drake Channel, leaving Soper's Hole and the West end of Tortola behind. We are now safely moored in a beautiful bay on the remote Peter Island. Upon arriving, the students had their "swim test," which consisted of a few laps around the boat and treading water for ten minutes. Tonight the students will begin their PADI open water course with our dive instructor Jack! We are all incredibly excited about the diving, sailing, and island exploration that lies ahead.
