Marine Science Instructor / PADI Diving Instructor
Alex grew up away from the sea in the rural UK but has been drawn towards the ocean from a young age. While at university he found his passion for the underwater world and became a PADI Instructor and has since worked across the globe from the cold murky lakes of the UK through to the tropics of Indonesia via the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean. During his time at university, he specialized on the impact climate change has had on gastropod species in Baja California, Mexico. Having graduated from the University of Southampton with an MSci in Marine Biology, he has assisted on conducting reef monitoring programs and using BRUVS (Baited Remote Underwater Video Surveys) to analyze shark and ray populations. He is passionate about showing others the underwater world and inspiring them into conservation and the marine sciences.
