Marine Science & PADI Diving Instructor
Ben grew up in England and has always been passionate about the natural world, especially curious
about the wonders of the Ocean. He holds a BSc in Conservation Biology and Ecology and recently
graduated with a MSc in Marine Environmental Management from the University of Exeter, UK. He is a
seasoned conservationist, having worked with organizations across the world, from the Maldives to
Costa Rica researched a broad range of themes, from marine plastic pollution to reef manta ray
ecology. Ben believes in the power of place-based learning to build people’s connection with the
ocean and improve an individual’s impact on conservation, so he is excited to teach the Marine Science
and PADI courses with Sea|mester. He is someone who loves to learn himself and looks forward to
getting stuck in with the crew to learn about sailing and maritime navigation.
