Marine Science Instructor
Brooke completed a BSc in Marine Science for her undergraduate degree, during which she participated in a semester at sea experience, sailing from Aotearoa, New Zealand, to French Polynesia. In between her undergrad and master’s courses, she worked as a Trip Leader with an experiential program abroad, taking teenagers to awe-inspiring places and creating experiences of a lifetime. Brooke also interned at MOTE Marine Laboratory in the Coral Restoration department and at Marine Dynamics Academy in South Africa. In 2024 she completed a MSc in Marine Biology at Bangor University in North Wales, UK, where she completed a thesis on dynamic shifts in coral reef communities during marine heatwaves. Outside of that, Brooke enjoys spending time with friends, crafting, listening to music, playing games, being outside, and adventuring. Brooke is super stoked to bring her love for the ocean, people, and excitement for life to Sea|mester.
