Chris grew up in Miami FL where he spent his youth exploring and admiring the reefs around Marathon Key. After graduating from university in Dallas, TX, with a degree in physics, he began his career in the US Navy working on submarines in the Pacific. While working in Hawaii and the Mariana Islands, he learned to SCUBA and freedive. Chris recently earned his RYA Yachtmaster and Cruising Instructor endorsements while in Gibraltar and has experience doing yacht deliveries in Caribbean and Mediterranean waters. He loves both learning and teaching and is excited to share his enjoyment of all things ocean with Sea|mester.
