PADI OWSI
Originally from the UK, Dan started his dive career working in marine conservation in Thailand. Since then, he has worked around SE Asia, managing dive operations and resorts in the Philippines and Indonesia. He is currently based in the Cayman Islands, where he specializes in technical diving, and is very excited about recently acquiring a rebreather to continue exploring Caymans deep wall sites. When not diving professionally, he is usually still underwater with his cameras. His photographs are primarily used for citizen science purposes and to convince everyone else that sea slugs really are the best marine creatures. Dan also enjoys breath-hold diving and recently won medals at Caymans freedive competition.
If there is water, Dan will try to dive in, and he is very excited to be joining the Sea|mester programme to continue doing what he loves most: teaching diving! His dive students will be relieved to know they wont be able to hear his terrible jokes while underwater, although theres probably no escaping his out-of-tunesinging.
