Daniel was raised on England’s south coast, sparking a love for the ocean, whether through windsurfing, sailing, diving, freediving, or just exploring the coastline. Daniel graduated from Oxford University with a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences in 2021, and has worked a variety of positions in conservation and as an outdoor educator since. His experiences include interning in Madagascar with Reef Doctor and at Mote Marine Laboratory’s coral restoration laboratory, as well as guiding teenagers on outdoor expeditions around the US and Canada for Adventure Treks. Daniel has also spent some time working as a research assistant for the Nature Conservancy on Palmyra Atoll. Most recently, he has been dive instructing in Koh Lanta, Thailand, and is very excited to join the Sea|mester team!
