Risk Management Consultant
Dave is a co-founder and the Executive Director of Cornerstone Safety Group, an all-inclusive risk management, medical, and mental health services company for the travel and experiential education industries. He has a masters degree in risk management in addition to multiple certifications in mental health first aid and as a Wilderness First Responder.
Dave brings 27 years of experience within international and domestic tour operations and has served as the Vice President of Safety & Risk Management within multiple global travel companies, as the Secretary of the Gap Year Associations Standards and Accreditation Committee, as an ambassador with the Responder Alliance, and consulted for over 60 travel organizations as a risk management specialist. He speaks frequently at conferences, hosts ongoing educational sessions, facilitates networking events, and enjoys connecting his vast network of business owners and executives to strengthen individual organizations and the broader industry.
