Deckhand
Hannah hails from Sarasota, Florida, where she grew up sailing on her familys boat and spending as much time on the water as possible. She participated in club and high school sailing for four years and later coached youth sailing camp, where she developed a love for teaching and mentoring.
After graduating from the University of South Florida, Hannah joined Sea|mester as a student aboard Vela, sailing from Bali to Antigua over two semesters. During that time, she logged over 10,000 nautical miles and fell in love with life at sea and all the magic it has to offer.
Hannah is excited to return to Vela this semester and is especially passionate about supporting, mentoring, and inspiring students as they build confidence and embrace the adventure of living and learning at sea.
