Mate, PADI Diving Instructor
Jay was born and raised in Athens, GA and graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelors in Business Management. Jay holds a Master Scuba Diver Trainer Instructor certification through PADI & an Advanced Open Water Instructor certification through SSI and has been teaching scuba since 2009. His sense of adventure and enthusiasm for diving has allowed him to lead dive trips all through the Caribbean, sail on tall ships around the US (including the San Juan Islands) & eventually lead him to discover Global Expeditions Group in 2017.Over the past few years, Jay has done refit work on S/Y Ocean Star & S/Y Argo and hes worked at Global Expeditions Group in the British Virgin Islands as a Mate & Dive Instructor with their ActionQuest Program. He is excited to join the Sea|mester team and share his passion for adventure, leadership & the underwater world.
