Program Manager, Marine Science Instructor, PADI Diving Instructor
Stephanie fell in love with the ocean at an early age, growing up near the shore in New Jersey. She went on to study marine biology at the University of Miami. It was during college where Stephanie took her first breaths underwater and was immediately captivated. She then pursued her Master’s degree in Marine Conservation at Miamis Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, studying reef fish communities in South Floridas National Parks. During this time she conducted over 100 scientific survey dives and was able to dive in 5 National Parks. After graduation she spent 9 months living in Utila, Honduras earning her PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification with 7 specialty instructor ratings. Stephanie is excited to join the Sea|mester team and share her passion for the marine environment in hopes of inspiring new stewards of our oceans.
