Location: Savannah Bay
Today all started bright and early in West End. With our first night already passed on the lovely Ocean Star, it was time to leave the dock! After a safety briefing and a few words about our program and schedule, we were off. We powered up the Sir Francis Drake Channel, passing St Johns, Norman Island, and Peter Island towards Virgin Gorda. Savannah Bay would be the destination; a beautiful bay with crystal blue waters and wonderfully white sand welcomed us as we carefully navigated the reef. After setting our anchor, we all jumped in for a swim. A few students still had to show off their swimming skills for PADI, while others just splashed around for fun. Tonight, we are all super excited to celebrate Laura’s Birthday with brownies and dive into our first Open Water knowledge review! Much love to our friends and family back home. -Team Ocean Star
