Today was an exciting day for everyone! After breakfast, the first group of scuba divers went out to check out the reef. They saw a reef shark and lots of cool fish. During that time, the open water group took a dinghy to the beach on the beautiful tiny island of Nevadra. They found pretty shells, coconuts, and hermit crabs. The groups swapped places after lunch, so the open water group had their first real dive. They went down about 30 ft. The other group had a blast at the beach! Shout out to Arden for spending his time picking up trash. Then, many of us participated in jumping in showers with the sharks down below right before dinner. After an exhausting day, many of the students decided to participate in a night dive using flashlights to illuminate the reef. We ended the night celebrating Ansleys 21st birthday with cake!
