Location: Sandy Spit
This morning, we set off to Sandy Spit. Before arriving there, we made a quick stop to grab/stock up on cereal while Ocean Star kept going. When we reached Sandy Spit, it started to rain, but luckily, it did not last long. Nick was the first one to jump off Near Enough and swim to the island, where we hung out and played beach games with the Ocean Star crew. The swim was well worth it. As the day went on, it turned out to be a beautiful day until around shower time. As we swam back to the boat, the rain was not far behind. Instead of hiding out in the salon, some of us took showers in the rain, which was great. It was the cleanest I have felt since I have been here. That night, we had a meeting about our passage for Nevis and then watched a movie/dialogue on Irving Johnson, who has been an inspiration for many sailors. Today was a great day, and I can’t wait to make our passage.
