Location: Underway to Tenerife
Hello, this is Oscar, your skipper today!! Today started off with an early rise at 8 am for watch. It was an easy watch with nothing particularly happening. The waves were swinging us side to side, which was a little funny, but made it hard to open doors during the boat check. When it was around 11:30, I had to wake people up in order to get them up for lunch. For lunch, we ate med bowls, which were good. Once people were done cleaning, we had a little time to rest before our first class, which was Marine Bio. We learned about the different life and species of the deep. After Marine Bio, we had Navmaster, in which we learned how to navigate and add leeway when plotting our courses.
All in all, days like this go faster than any other day. Before dinner everyone decided to rest or sleep, the suprising thing that happened was when Bryson and charlie pulled up two fish. And later today, those two fish will become snacks for people on watch. Dinner was chicken and rice, which was a delicious meal. That is all that has happened today!
