Today was a relaxed day in Barbuda. We ate some spice bread for breakfast made by our Captain, Kris. After breakfast, we had an MTE class and practiced finding our triangulated position. Splitting into two groups, we tested our buoyancy control on a tough underwater obstacle course set up by Tor. Jake and Maddie had the two fastest times. With free time, some of us checked out the beach, and Sidney and Frisby attempted wind-surfing (funny to watch, but good effort). We have an OCE class tonight then were headed for the playground for the rich and famous, St. Barths! Passage prep was completed for Ocean Star but also included the usual dashikis for the guys plus some awesome brownies courtesy of Georgia and Tor. It’s an overnight passage, and we hope to arrive by morning. That’s it for now!
