Location: Green island, Antigua
We started the morning early by filling up with fresh water and diesel and left English Harbor prior to breakfast. We had Theo’s chocolate chip pancakes underway as Near Enough was slowly making her way against large swells on her way to Green Island. We had to hurry up to clean up after that as the dishes were threatening to slide overboard in the swells! After a few hours of motor sailing and careful navigation around reefs and rocks, we anchored at Green Island. Boomer went windsurfing right away, and most of the crew also quickly jumped in the water as everyone was happy to be off the dock and in clean water. In the afternoon, we conducted a navigation dive, which was the certifying dive for all those getting their Advanced Diver certification. We concluded the day with a beach BBQ and campfire on Green Island.
