Location: Cooper Island, BVI

Hello everyone back home!

We woke up today to delicious cinnamon rolls and then left Gorda Sound after Perrys oceanography quiz to head to the famous Baths. Before we left, we had a talk about the history of the place and how it got its name. Its an incredible form of nature and something that can still be appreciated and enjoyed, while also keeping respect for what the place has seen in the past.
After anchoring, Zoe told us about the tribulations of the swim over to shore from the dinghy and made us think that this could be Eriks last swim, since he only learned how to swim on this trip. Thankfully Zoe overplayed just how bad the swim would be, and we made it to the Baths without incident. We explored through the caves and pools making up the Baths and ended at a small beach bar and shops. Erik got a particularly interesting shirt and sunglasses for Perry and Chloe, and Mo chased around baby chicks trying to pick them up. It was very funny. We swam back to the dinghies, and we moved to Cooper Island to prep for our dive in the Rhone tomorrow!
