Today was another nice and relaxing day at sea. Everyone has settled into their watch rhythms and is enjoying passage life. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch any fish today, but we did see some dolphins after dinner. Our two classes in the afternoon were marine biology and professional skipper and crew training, where the students began their formal navigation training. After a delicious dinner of rice and beans cooked by Jill and Brittany, watch team three took the deck just before a beautiful sunset. We’ve spent the last three hours enjoying the beautiful sailing and discussing such important matters as American Idol, childhood tv shows, and whether the light we saw shooting across the sky was a UFO or a spaceship.
