Location: La Spezia
Today started off bright and early at the hour of 6:00 AM in the port of La Spezia; everyone got up surprisingly easily. After A quick breakfast, we set off to the train station to start our journey. We started with a nice but long hike along the coast with a bunch of amazing views. Unfortunately, some of the group members were not able to go on the hike because they did not have proper footwear, so they took the train to the next town, where the hike ended. While we were hiking, they explored the town to see what it had to offer. When everyone was there, we all met up and were told how far we could go, and then we were released and allowed to go to whichever of the five towns we were able to. Some of us went on another hike, and others went shopping or went to eat. While they were hiking, my group went to try to find the beach. It took a while and a wrong town, but we finally found it and enjoyed the rest of the time we had at the beach; after all that, we met up in the final town and got on the train to go back to the boat to have dinner. Then we did sail prep for the next day to go to MONACO!!! After everything was finished, we were allowed to leave the boat to get some gelato, take warm showers, and head off to bed. I believe everyone had a great day, and I hope more can be just like this one.
