Location: Mountain Point
Sea date: 150106. Today we scoured the bay for turtles in order to tag and record them in collaboration with the BVI Conservation and Fisheries Department. There was only one turtle caught, and Leah was the victorious turtle trapper! She named the turtle “Lenox” and it was a feisty one! Leah was fearless in her pursuit, and I’m sure she had fun. We also did much diving, with the advanced divers completing their own conquest while the new divers explored the shallower waters of new discovery. They also completed their quizzes for the Open Water certification. As for other news, we had excellent food today, with tortellini and salad for dinner, and also we have been watching a storm over the horizon to the West, so it may rain. All in all a wonderful day.
