Location: Agadir, Morocco
I woke up to the cries of roosters and the chill bite of the morning desert air. I made my way outside, where I found Alexa, Amelia, and Hailey, who had watched the sunrise. I walked a lap around camp, taking in the beautiful view of the mountains, which reminded me of home. Then we all gathered for breakfast, which consisted of crepes, bread, and eggs. The meal was served slowly, each course coming one at a time, which gave us time to sit and enjoy each others company. After everyone had split up for different activities. Cameron, Hailey, Maria, Jem, and I did some pottery. Sabrina, Emily, Fish, Maria, others, and I all got Henna. The lady had us sit and give her a hand. From there, she free-styled, doing a unique design for each person. Others did other activities, such as cooking or a massage (Ben finally got his massage!), and Rachel went for a camel ride! After my activities, I went for a walk in the desert with Sam, Maria, and Nacho. We spotted snail shells, different animal tracks, and rocks. Once we got back, we loaded up the vans and made the three-hour trek back to Argo. I enjoyed taking in the Moroccan countryside by looking out the window and got a great nap. We finished the evening with Shanes delicious curry and rice. Until next time, Morocco.
