Location: Underway to Richard’s Bay

This morning started off wonderfully with a nice tickle on the chin by Keith. After gathering my bearings and making my way up on deck, I was soon hit with a nasty cold front coming out of the southern seas. It was deemed necessary that I needed my pink Beanie. After getting comfortable and settling into the 8-12, the rest of the watch team and 3 had some wonderful chats. It took Perry 4 hours to figure out the color of my hat. Hes color blind, but Im sure you already know that. After a wonderful, cozy watch, it was time for lunch, which was handcrafted by none other than Rai-Ching. The wonderful smell of bread wafted up the companion ways, blessing anyone on deck. Thank you, Maia! After lunc,h it was time for class, which no one was ready for due to the upcoming quiz in oceanography. Luckily, we had leadership first, which gave us a little more time to prepare.

I also made brownies because it was that kind of day. After everyone had aced the quiz, we had a little bit of free time. Adda, Maia, Vera, and Alice were sifting sand in the corner while others tried to make latte art. This was followed by a quick game of chess, where I was humbled by Henry. Its currently 2 to 2 in the series. Before we knew it, it was time for dinner. Luckily for me, it was very easy to get everyone on deck because there were dolphins. Some scrumptious Mac and cheese was on the menu tonight, a perfect dinner for a chilly day. After quickly being devoured, it was time for cleanup. Sounds like it got rowdy in the dishy pit. After cleanup was done and brownies were consumed a rainbow appeared which was a perfect ending to a wonderful day. This brings me to now, where I am writing the Blog, watching Fin, Maia, Henry, and Wiley play blackjack.
