Location: English Habour, Antigua
Today was Ben and Sully’s birthday. We started out with an early breakfast at 7:30 that consisted of eggs and sausage. After breakfast, we had an Oceanography class down in the saloon, complete with Jessica handing our graded tests back. Happily, everyone did extremely well! Then, we proceeded to hike along the coast of the English harbor. After we hiked, we had free time to have lunch onshore. People doing underwater research projects, along with those who wanted to practice their underwater navigation, dove at 2:30 while everyone else continued to explore the island. Then everyone had dinner at 6, which consisted of pasta and chicken with cake for dessert. After dinner, research groups are going night diving to measure the fluorescence of corals at night. Overall it was a relaxing, calm day where the crew got a little break from ship life.
