Today has been a nice relaxing day. Yesterday we celebrated Sara and Grace’s birthday, which led to a nice and relaxing next day. I woke up at around 6:45 am to wake up the crew! We ate Grace’s wonderful potato hash breakfast. Fueling us for seamanship, In class, we practiced how to plot a map. Right after, we had an hour break! Some crew mates slept some stayed up during the hour. We then had lunch which was soya and rice, then had Oceanography. In class, Sam taught us about fish farming and its impacts on the marine environment, which was very cool. We then had EFR with Ash which was so much fun! For dinner, we had tacos and cookies to celebrate Grace and Sara’s birthday! Today is my last day of being a skipper on the ocean star! I had so much fun these past 60 days! I love everyone, especially the staff! The ocean star is my second home! Shout out to Nick, Sam, Heather, and Ash for making this trip so much fun! It truly changed my perspective on life and allowed me to grow in many different ways! ⛵️ ⭐️ ♥️ ♾️
