Today, we woke up at 7:15 to a magnificent sunrise. After a delicious breakfast of pancakes and fruit made by Jack and James, we cleaned up and then had a thrilling MTE class followed by an outstanding OCB class. We all hurried to get ready so that we could go to shore by eleven. Once we got to shore, some of us dropped off our laundry at the local laundromat, which didn’t seem like a big deal, but it was basically a gift from God. After dropping our grody clothes off, we hopped into a taxi and went to St. George to go to the local farmers market. Once we got to St. George, we found Roger (a local man who is a friend of the crew on Ocean Star), and he showed us the best places to go. Roger brought us to a kick-ass restaurant where we ate Roti, a Caribbean burrito. After lunch, we checked out the farmer’s market. It was filled with so many interesting people, foods, spices, and other crafts. After the farmers market, we headed to the beach, where we relaxed in the sun. Lauren, Ellie, Celeste, and I met a man who called himself Dijon-like the mustard. We chatted with him for a while and then headed back to Prickley Bay for pick-ups. Once back on Oceanstar, we ate dinner and real mac and cheese and had another epic OCB class on macroalgae. After class, we hung around and went to bed.
