Location: Dominica
We started out the day by conducting a salinity and temperature lab on the Indian River, which is one of Dominica’s 365 rivers. After collecting data on the scenic boat ride, the crew jumped back into Stowe’s van, and we were treated to beautiful views of the windward side of the island. We stopped on a beach to eat lunch, and afterward, Stowe took us to the Carib Indian Reserve and the gorgeous Trafalgar Falls to swim. The day was topped off with a night out at a local restaurant, where we enjoyed a Dominican band and some delicious food.
