Location: Charlestown, Nevis
Today was our first Boat Appreciation (BA). We usually do BA when we get to a new country, but it was late when we arrived in Nevis. I think it was a great experience for everyone to learn how much has to be put into running/maintaining a boat of this size. After BA we went ashore for either a bike ride round the island or a hike up to Nevis’ water source. The bike ride was beautiful and they had fun meeting some local school children. The hike was challenging and exhilarating at the same time, and everyone made it up to the water source. We finished the day with a hearty dinner made by Dan and Megan, and an oceanography class.
