Location: Spanish Town

The morning began with yummy French toast and a brief downpour. After breakfast, the Open Water divers went on their first open water dive. While the already-certified divers waited onboard for their turn to finally get to dive. After both groups had finished their dives, we had a speedy lunch and brought up anchor to head to Spanish Town. On the way, we put up sails, practiced tacking and jibing, and even did a man overboard drill. Once we got to Spanish Town, we all went ashore to call home and wish our father a happy Father’s Day, use the internet, get some candy, and some along-awaited ice cream. We had a dinner of garden bacon burgers ( which were actually good) and were told that customs decided to close early for Father’s Day, so we would not be beginning our sail to Nevis until tomorrow morning.
