Hello everyone, and welcome back to the blog. Today started at our normal time of 7 am. We had yogurt bowls for breakfast and then got straight into work! Today’s work consisted of many things, first being our Emergency Action Plans for our Rescue Certifications, then onto logging all of our dives from the past 40 days and filling out paperwork for all of our diving certifications. After that, it was time to pull up the anchor, like a normal anchor pick up, it would usually take 10-15 minutes. Today, it took an hour, why? Because we had to manually hoist the anchor up (3 shots worth of anchor chain = A WHOLE LOTTA CHAIN). Sadly I did not witness this as I had started one of my BA (Boat Appreciation) tasks which was cleaning the chart house.

Luckily, I had the best work buddy, Charley, and we made the chart house look spotless. Afterwards, we moved onto helping clean the galley stove and reorganize/reorganize the food bunk. After that, it was already time to go onto the dock. Dom and I were dropped off by Zoe at the dock to catch the dock lines. Thankfully, all lines were caught beautifully (not to toot my own horn) and we celebrated with a rain dance. After that, we had a fancy meal of leftovers and then went straight back into BA tasks. My last task of the day was scrubbing the sides of the boat with Charley from the dinghy, which was very funny and soapy. After that, everything else was either finished or almost complete. I decided to walk over to the grocery store and grab a nice cold beverage and some snacks. Once back, everyone was doing different things, from journaling, writing cards, hanging out, or sadly starting to pack. After that, we all got ready for our final dinner, where we had yummy pizza, our final squeeze, and Gabe read us “Don’t worry, little crab”. Now we are off to hang out with one another and get ready to say our final goodbyes (not looking forward to it).

To my family, looking forward to seeing you soon! But might have to cancel my flight to stay a little longer ; )
