Location: Savannah Bay
Today was a blast. But instead of talking about the big takeaways of the day, I find it more meaningful to talk about the small moments that could be easily overlooked. Emma and I worked our asses off putting on the sail covers with zero instructions (and we killed it), I laid on my back while on my first dive in a long time and it felt like I was floating, I saw a baby pipefish, Kate, Lizzie, Sasha, and I took a lil nap on the beach together, we saw a stingray flap its wings in the sand and meander about hehe, the feeling of drifting with the current while staring at the sky, the nice breeze on the way back to the boat on the dinghy, how we jumped off the boat all sudsed up for bath time together, Chef Gabe with the veggie masala, and the colors in the sky for tonights sunset. I loved how we all stood in a circle after dinner and shared honestly about a goal we want to achieve in our lives. Its cool how everyone has different dreams, but our paths are still intertwined for us to be here together. There is something special in that. And from today, I also know I will never forget the feeling of climbing up the ladder to the boat after a dive (so heavy lol), and the sound of Ethan smashing cans with a mallet after dinner haha.
