Location: English Harbour, Antigua
Today was a superb sailing day, beginning with the crew setting sail from Green Island and eventually setting all 6 sails for the light wind sail to English Harbour. On arrival we sailed the boat through the channel into Freeman’s Bay with a crowd of onlookers cheering us on. After taking down the sails we manuvered Ocean Star stern-to the dock and prepared lunch. After lunch the crew explored Antigua and Nelson’s Dockyard, absorbing the rich history around every corner. After dinner there was an Oceanography class and a Marine Biology film on the “Deep Sea”. All in all a busy but exciting and extremely rewarding day.
