Location: Sandy Island, Carriacou
It was such an amazing day! Today, we had class, had amazing meals thanks to Ella, and swam back to the sandy island one last time. We played Seamanship Jeopardy, which was a lot of fun, and learned about microscopic colonies we can see from space when the conditions are just right in oceanography. It was so beautiful today, and we found a coconut on the little island! I got everyone to pitch in and get a coconut from a palm tree, which was very funny watching people throw random objects at a tree. We also started the first section of our advanced open-water diving course, which was great, and I am excited to learn more underwater. Tomorrow morning, we are leaving for Union, which is a quick day sail. Can’t wait to share more about the next island!
