Today we had a pretty chilled day – We had breakfast at around 7:00, and then the Rescue Dive Course took up the rest of the morning. After lunch some people went with Beaker to do Elkhorn research, some went to hang out on a nearby beach, and some just hung back on the boat. As dinner time approached, dinghies shuttled people ashore. At 17:00 the feast began – Cheese Burgers and Hotdogs galore. After we gorged ourselves we started the bonfire and all had a guess as to how long it would take for the fire to reach Wilson (a stick man that was made for the occasion), who was perched on the top of the fire. Once the bonfire was burning steadily, we roasted marshmallows and made some Smores. They were fantastic. The night ended with Adam taking up the guitar and serenading us with ‘Puff the magic dragon’.
