We had an early start today. I had to wake everybody up at about 5:15. We ate a quick breakfast as we watched the full moon set and the sun rise, which must have been a good omen because we had an awesome day. Poncho had organized Taxis to collect us and take us the short way to the basin, where the beginning of our hike to the boiling lake would start. The hike and the lakes were incredible, with Poncho providing us with an equally incredible lunch of Salt Fish, Fresh Dominican bread and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. We continued the hike through most of the afternoon, making it back to the boat around 15:30. After showers we topped the day off with a lovely dinner at a fancy restaurant. What a day.
