So let’s dive into today, which was a late wake-up at 8:00 o’clock to Santiana. From there, we would have some good old avocado toast with eggs. The schedule for today would end up being completely wrong cause the decision would be made to have classes in the afternoon instead of the morning, and we would be allowed to have lunch on our own on shore.
I know that many people had a more interesting day than I did, like going on a dolphin excursion or hiking, but I ended up deciding to take it easy today, hanging back at the boat for a bit while everyone else left. My lunch ended up being rather pleasant, sitting down and enjoying a chicken BBQ burger whilst catching up with my parents. After finishing my talk with my parents, I headed back to Vela, where I sat down and drew some and worked on my marine biology logbook. We ended up having seamanship and marine biology today where we learned how to a point on a chart and about marine birds and reptiles.
As our day would come to an end, we would enjoy some delicious beef stroganoff, and my squeeze’s question would end up being, “If you could live in any fictional universe, whether it be a book, movie, video game, etc., what would you pick?” After the squeeze, Mac would announce that we are going to be going through with the island tour tomorrow and that we are planning to leave Tuesday morning if the weather permits it. But that’s tomorrow, and tonight I plan to get myself a milkshake and draw a bit more or work on a project or two if I feel up to it.
