After two mentally grueling hours of class, we proceeded to physically challenge ourselves with a hike to the source. The source is a waterfall from which all water in Nevis is tapped from. The unfiltered water runs down miles of pipes to the village. This technical hike led us up and down mudslides and across rocky terrain until we reached the culmination of our efforts, a 50 ft steel ladder up the side of the waterfall. The hike was both rewarding and a good change of pace, allowing us to stretch our legs after passage.
