Location: Gorda Sound, BVI
Today, we put our sailing skills to the test. It was a battle of the watch teams to see who could sail the group’s Hobie cat three times back and forth from the beach to the buoy and properly beach it before the other team could. It was a close race, full of swift jibes and wild tacking. People were flying on and off the ever-moving sailboat in the shallows to change out team members, along with life jackets, while the teams were standing by cheering. This very same beach was where we had our first night out almost three very eventful months ago.
