Hey, blog watchers. Let’s get into what went down todayfor 7 of us, the day started quite early at 5 am. We won the boat lottery to do a dawn dive, which was very cool. We dove into the same boat wreck that we dove into the night before, but it was very cool to watch the sun come up underwater. We started our dive with the nocturnal fish, and then, as the sun rose, we got to see the other fish wake up and make their morning commute. After surfacing, Jaxson and I became very suspicious. As you guys have heard, 5 of us are working towards our rescue diver certification. Well, Zoe decided she wanted to fake die, and as soon as Jaxson clocked it, Allie torpedos herself right at him. I had just gotten out of the water and taken all my gear off, just to turn back around and grab my fins again. I threw Jaxson a ring float and jumped in to wrangle Allie (who was acting insane) while Jaxson ‘saved’ Zoe. While all this was happening, poor Max was woken up from his deep sleep to help with his rescue pals. Long story short, we passed the scenario, thank goodness. This means Meg can’t mess with us anymore. WE’RE RESCUE DIVERS!!!

Anyway, after that, we had a small dive group of 3, Chloe, Katherine, and Claire, go dive the shipwreck. Everyone else got started on some boat prep to get to our hurricane-safe dock. There was also a shore trip, the same three girls who explored the beautiful beaches and had some fun. The rest of us opted out of the dive and beach exploration because we were pooped. After this, we had some fried rice for lunch before getting ready to move to where we are now, Spanish Town. Underway, we had some Oceanography review as well as a quiz. There was some napping in there somewhere, but I’m gonna be honest: I took two naps and had no idea what they were in between. Either way, we were all woken up to help Nick beautifully dock the boat in this slip. There was a lot of sitting silently, waiting for Nick to tell us what to do, but it was mostly just Nick being savage and docking the ship like a pro. After we docked, we had some deck scrubbing and cooking to do, which led us to an absolutely amazing meal from Nadia. The creamy Tuscan chicken she made us was arguably the best meal we have had. We did squeeze, the question was what superpower would you choose to have. I am now Aquaman mixed with the Avatar. Everyone is cleaning up right now. Or so I thought while typing this; an Emergency First Responder scenario is going on, and I have no idea who is being saved. I’m gonna go check it out and leave y’all to your final days before we make our return to society.

But whatever. The hurricane is yet to tear us down. We live another day. #OceanStar #Hurricane #CantStopUsBruh
