Another great day on Argo. It started with a 12 a.m.- 4 a.m. watch for Watch Team 2, and it was a special watch because it was Everett’s 22nd birthday. We all brought our finest snacks to share with him, and our watch team leader, Emma, made vanilla pudding with Twix bars; it was amazing. After watch we went back to bed till 11, then I woke up and went to sit with watch team 1 till my watch, apparently right before I came up there was a fishing boat that came up to Argo and offered to sell us fish, we respectfully declined. Then we had chocolate chip pancakes and scrambled eggs for lunch made by our head chef Maya and her sous chefs Rhianna and Josie. After lunch, we 80-dayers had marine bio on deck with Jen, and the 40B crew had Navmaster with Captain Shane. After bio, while 40B was still doing Navmaster, we 80-dayers relaxed; some read books, some painted their nails, and Emma and I played chess. After navmaster finished, we had leadership with Jack. Then we were told to dress in our “finest garb” for an equator crossing ceremony for all who have yet to cross the equator. The ceremony took place after dinner and all the 80-dayers that crossed the equator earlier in the program got to serve on Neptune’s court, it was a great ceremony and the title of this blog comes from Josie and Sammy’s awesome rap performance, but two of the 40Bers (Claire and Emily) were rejected by the court and were sentenced to get a bucket of dishie pit water poured on them. Now I’m going up to start my 8-12 watch. To my family, Mom, Dad, and Ari, I love and miss you guys. See you soon in Bali. Bye for now.
