Location: Underway to Palau

This just in, from the middle of the Pacific! Today was quite the day for the Vela crew. To start the day, I had 8 am-12 pm watch with watch team 2: Tougy, Isaac, Jack, Jill, Luna, Kayla, and Arden. (Shoutout the best watch team leader, Claire). It was a hot but calm watch with some cleaning and work on the dinghies. We had bean burgers for lunch and Thai curry for dinner, yum! Thank you, Chef Daniel, Kat, and Noa. Clothespin wars are still in full swing; no one is safe. I woke up with one clipped to my bracelet, thanks, Garrett. I clipped Drew pretty good, too, action photo included. We all took our Knot exam and Emergency First Responder exam and passed, yay! We did exam review for Navmaster, pictured is Ryan, working hard on his plotting with a gnarly PFD tanline. Theres not much wind, so we are still motoring right now, but many people from each watch team still did great on the helm.

I am writing this during cleanup, and Maddy is currently yelling at me from the hatches to get on deck and sing Mary Janes Last Dance with her, duty calls! Hi Mom and Dad, I love and miss yall so much! Give Lady a kiss for me! Skipper Ansley signing off!
