Location: Underway to Les Saintes

It’s day twenty at sea, and the crewfeeling the weight and strain of the long Atlantic crossingexcitedly awaits the Caribbean. Tomorrow morning, Argo will arrive in Le Saintes, where days and nights filled with fun and adventure await. With a “land ahoy” in the crew’s near future, it’s all hands on deck to get Argo to the island as soon as possible. Day 76 started off normal, quiet, and slightly rainy, though the sun showers came with large, white, fluffy clouds and multiple rainbowsan overall beautiful way to end a long passage, and a sign of good luck for things to come. The crew today had a quiz and their final in Oceanography. As classes are ending, the work to get certified is picking back up: diving and emergency first responder (EFR) classes and exams have started. Staff member Charlie passed his EFR exam today!

After class, studying, and homework, the crew had time to read, relax, and take in the last full day on the Atlantic. We had Aidan’s veggie curry for dinner and gybed before heading off to watch or sleep for our final night of passage in the Atlantic.
