Location: Savannah Bay, Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
With the crew assembled, we cast off dock lines just before noon. Ocean Star motored to windward up the Drake Channel with her new shipmates taking turns at the helm. Lunch was served underway. At 15:30, we dropped anchor in the beautiful Savannah Bay. We enjoyed dinner of Tortellini and salad, listening to the raindrops fall on the tarp. After dinner, the crew was introduced to the intricacies of the vessel and continued their scuba diving homework.
