Location: Fare, Huahine

This morning started with a marine biology class, the last one before the first exam. Immediately after class, we raised anchor and left Port Bourayne to motor bay up the narrow channel north towards the town of Fare. Today was still mostly cloudy and rainy, but the sun came through the clouds for a while, shining on the bright aqua colors of the shallow lagoon behind Huahine’s barrier reef. In the afternoon, some went ashore for one last time in Huahine while others chose to study back on board, swim, or windsurf. In the late afternoon, we got Argo ready to sail in preparation for our early departure for Bora Bora tomorrow morning. We are ending the day with a Professional Skipper and Crew Training class.
