Location: Chatham Bay, Union

We started the day bright and early. By 8 AM, we headed over to the island for a hike and were met by the park rangers who were leading us on our venture. When everyone had arrived, we headed off. Not 10 minutes, we found a snake and each got a turn to hold it. We continued our journey, learning about the environment around us from our head ranger. After roughly an hour and a half, we reached the peak with a spectacular view, the highest peak in all the Grenadines! Once pictures had been taken and scenery had been taken in, we started our trek down. Roughly halfway down, we came to an underpass and got to see the Union Island Gecko, along with a brief history lesson. The rest of the hike down was fairly easy, and we arrived back on the ship to start getting our dive kits set up and ready to head to the nearby reef after lunch. Once under, we saw a multitude of fish and marine life, including eels, lionfish, and many different reef fish. After the dive, we headed back to the ship and finished out the day. Wishing well to all friends and families! Hope you’re doing well!
